The Tumbl Trak Home Kip Bar has been redesigned and improved from its previous version, the Jr. Kip Bar. The base on this new model is 4ft wide x 6ft long and does not require additional extensions to further stabilize the frame.

Handstand Homework Bundle 3

From beginner to advanced levels, handstand control is an absolute necessity in all facets of the sport of gymnastics. The Handstand Homework Mat is a multi-functional mat developed with Tom Forster, USA Gymnastics National Team Staff Coach.

Use of the Mat encourages practice at home. Use of the Mat encourages practice at home. Placing a 1ft Fun Stick onto the mat creates a bigger challenge for better handstand control. The lower the Fun Stick is placed on the mat, the bigger the handstand challenge becomes. Place two 2ft Fun Sticks on each side of the athlete to help create a channel for a straighter handstand. Place a Floor Bar in front of the Mat with the Fun Sticks and practice your bar handstands too!

The Handstand Homework Mat is reversible. One side is a Cartwheel Mat (available in 4 colors) and the other side is blue carpet which features a 6ft. long, 4in. wide white “beam” stripe. The Mat is designed to easily attach to any door with slide-on clips and Velcro straps, but can also be used on the floor.

Does it come with the hardware necessary to attach the mat to the door?

Yes, door clips are included that will attach the mat to the top and bottom of a standard (1-?”) interior door.

Does it have to be attached to the door, can I use it on the floor?

Absolutely can be used laying flat on the floor, in fact the opposite side of the mat has the Hands and Feet placement for a cartwheel.

What else can I do with the Fun Stick?

Use them for cartwheels, conditioning, create a frame or a stationary skill area for jumps.

Does the workbook come with the mat?

Yes the Handstand Homework Book comes with the Handstand Homework Mat.

Forster Bar

The Forster Bar is a training aid intended to help teach gymnasts how to shift their wrists on the bar during skills such as clear hips (free hips). The octagonal ends allow gymnasts to perform straight-arm backward rolls and back extension rolls which simulate the free hip motion. The Forster Bar can also be used with panel mats to teach the proper sit-up position and bar placement used during a kip. Be sure to watch the video below to see training examples utilizing the Forster Bar.

Developed with coach Tom Forster, the Forster Bar is an inexpensive, useful training aid. A rubber coating covers the bar, providing a good grip, and making the bar safer while training. This bar has proven to be extremely effective in teaching free-hips and kips, and is used by top level coaches around the country.

Junior Bar Pro

If you like the Jr. Kip Bar, you’ll love the Jr. Bar Pro! This bar is much easier to set up (and take-down) and has a stronger and more durable frame. The Jr. Bar Pro features special adjustment knobs to allow for quick height changes. No plywood is needed to further stabilize the bar as we recommend for the Jr. Kip Bar. This setup takes up only a 4’x6′ area on the floor.

The 48” space between the base permits a standard 4 ft. wide mat to be used underneath. We recommend either a 4’x8′ Tumbling Mat or a Jr. Practice Mat underneath this bar.
